Foraging Wheel

The Paradise Foraging Wheel is a great find for the highly active and intelligent parrots. The Foraging Wheel is constructed of break resistant pollycarbonate plastic, and has stainless steel hardware. Foraging Wheel is also dish washer safe making cleanup a breeze.

Parrots such as Amazons, Caiques, Cockatoos, African Greys, and Macaws as well as any other very clever parrot will enthusiastically enjoy foraging for their most treasured treats with this wheel.

Birds learn to use the knob to turn the cover plate and expose the food items within each chamber.

To release the wheel from the bracket, the human will pull down the latch on the bottom of the bracket, raise the cover plate and unhook at the top. The wheel is then free. Unscrew the cover plate and fill the chambers, put the cover plate back on, hook the wheel on the top and fold down, secure to the bracket by pressing the bottom latch inward and it will snap closed.

In only a few moments of your time, your parrot will be happily engaged for several hours. To encourage a bird to keep working the wheel, simply fill each chamber with a different type of food.

Foraging Wheel measures approximately 6 inches round in size with attaching plate measuring approximately 7-1/2 inches long.
